ARMENIAN CAPTIVES TORTURED IN AZERBAIJAN, KARABAKH ORGANIZATION STATEMENT SAYS

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Council of the Board of the Union of relatives of missing soldiers of Nagorno Karabakh has addressed a statement to the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group and the leadership of the International Committee of the Red Cross. The message, in particular, noted that according to the data, received from reliable sources, Armenian prisoners of war and hostages are held in prisons and concentration camps of the neighboring republic. Under the threat of death they are prevented from telling international observers, visiting the imprisonment sites, their real personal data. "According to the data we have, our compatriots, kept in prisons by force, are constantly tortured," the Council address says. At the same time the document authors address international structures asking for urgent mediation for the soonest possible release of the Armenian prisoners of war and hostages, left alive.
