ARMENIAN SPEAKER DISCUSSED ARMENIAN-TURKISH RELATIONS WITH FRENCH AND GERMAN MFA POLITICAL DIRECTORS

PanARMENIAN.Net - November 11 Armenian National Assembly Speaker Artur Baghdasarian received Michael Schaefer, Political Director of the German Foreign Office and Political Director of the French Foreign Ministry Stanislav Lefebre. During the meeting the guests noted that they are in the South Caucasus to collect the facts for clarifying the prospects of the development of the region. Noting the importance of the inclusion of the South Caucasus in the Wider Europe: New Neighbors EU program A. Baghdasarian underscored that this EU initiative opens big prospects for the region. The parties also touched upon the Armenian-Turkish relations and pointed out to the importance of cooperation not only between the South Caucasian states but also within the frames of Armenia-Turkey relationships.
