FRENCH AND GERMAN FOREIGN MINISTRY REPRESENTATIVES: OSCE IS ORBICULAR NEGOTIATION STRUCTURE FOR KARABAKH SETTLEMENT

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chief of Armenian President's Staff Artashes Tumanian today received German and French Foreign Ministry Political Directors Michael Scheffer and Stanislav Lefebre, who are in Armenia on a regional visit. He emphasized that Euro integration is a priority task for Armenian foreign policy. In the course of the conversation questions of the current state of the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict were also discussed. Referring to the Baku latest initiative for transferring the discussion of the problem to another structure, the French and German delegates noted, that a negotiation structure is already formed in the person of the OSCE and there is no need to transfer the issue to other international organizations. During the meeting Armenian-Turkish relations were discussed as well. Presenting Yerevan stance on the matter A. Tumanian noted that Armenia is ready to establish relations with Turkey without any preconditions.
