ARMENIAN SPEAKER MET WITH AMBASSADORS OF EU COUNTRIES

PanARMENIAN.Net - Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia Artur Baghdasarian yesterday met with Ambassadort of the EU Countries - France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Poland in Armenia, the Press service of the National Assembly of Armenia reported. EU representative for Armenia and Georgia, Ambassador Torben Holtze and Head of the EU Office in Yerevan Alexis Loeber were present at the meeting. In the course of the conversation the parties discussed issues referring to democratic reforms in Armenia, specifically, constitutional and electoral reforms, the Law on holding meetings, gatherings, rallies and demonstrations. The EU Ambassadors noted the importance of holding reforms and meeting the commitments to the PACE. In his turn, Artur Baghdasarian confirmed the readiness to continue joint reforms with international structures and experts in compliance with the timetable approved by the PACE and the OSCE.
