Yerevan not Recognizing Karabakh Independence is Concession by Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - «We do not recognize Nagorno Karabakh independence and it is a concession on our part,» Secretary of the National Security Council of Armenia, Defense Minister Serge Sargsyan stated in Carnegie Foundation when answering a question of American Turkish Association representatives. The question was how the world could recognize Nagorno Karabakh independence if Armenia does not recognize it. Spokesperson of Armenian MOD, colonel Seyran Shahsuvaryan reported it to PanARMENIAN.Net In Sargsyan's words, Armenia agreeing to repeated referendum in Karabakh is a concession as well. «We all know well that independence is a hard way full of suffering, and the Karabakh people passes it with dignity. After all, if nobody recognized Karabakh, why the Minsk Group was formed, why the US, France and Russia deal with the issue, why world democratic structures always state the NK conflict differs from the Ossetian, Abkhazian and other conflicts,» Armenian Defense Minister stressed.
