Belgian Senate President Arriving in Yerevan Today

PanARMENIAN.Net - October 31 - November 2 Belgian Senate President Anne-Marie Lizin will be in Armenia on an official call. Armenian Speaker Artur Baghdassaryan has invited Anne-Marie Lizin to Armenia, reported the Press Service of the Armenian Parliament. October 31 Anne-Marie Lizin will meet with Artur Baghdassaryan, the Chairman of Armenia-Belgium Parliamentary Friendship Group and Standing Parliamentary Commission for Foreign Relations Armen Rustamyan. Besides, Ms. Lizin is scheduled to meet with Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II. The Belgian delegation will also lay a wreath to the Memorial of the Victims of the Armenian Genocide. November 1 the delegation of the Belgian Senate will take part in a jubilee session marking the 15th anniversary of the National Assembly of Armenia, a forum titled Parliament and Prospects of Development of Parliamentary Systems in Democracies. Anne-Marie Lizin is also scheduled to meet with Armenian President Robert Kocharian, PM Andranik Margaryan, FM Vartan Oskanian, Ombudsperson Larisa Alaverdyan and EU Ambassadors accredited in Armenia. November 2 the Belgian delegation will leave Armenia.
