Good Reputation of Greek Armenians Attaches Special Spirit to Relations between Two States

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Robert Kocharian, on a visit in Greece, met on Thursday with the representatives of the Armenian community of Greece. Kocharian stressed that the warmness towards the Armenian community was noted at all of his Athens meetings. He awarded to Greek Armenian Petros Gyurunian with a Mkhitar Heratsi medal for the outstanding service rendered to Armenia and contribution in the Armenian embassy in Athens. Kocharian briefed the Armenian community on the latest developments in the Karabakh conflict settlement process, as well as the political and economic situation of Armenia. On November 11, the president also met with the secretary general of the Greek Communist Party and members of the Leftist coalition. Besides, the Robert Kocharian will take part in the solemn opening ceremony of the new building of the Armenian Embassy in Greece.
