Armenian Foreign Ministry Concerned over Azerbaijan's Latest Statements

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian FM Vartan Oskanian addressed the meeting of the OSCE Permanent Council in Vienna, expressing concern over Azerbaijan's latest statements, «which do not promote progress at the talks on settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict based on agreements made,» reported the Press Service of the Armenian MFA. Oskanian underscored that Azerbaijan's statements that Baku will wait for time more favorable for settlement of the conflict run counter to the spirit and content of principles of the Prague process.

The Armenian FM presented the situation in the talks after the Rambouillet meeting of the Armenian and Azeri Presidents at the OSCE Permanent Council session. The Minister assured that Armenia is ready to display resoluteness and political will necessary for settling the conflict on the basis of compromises.
