H5N1 Virus Not Found in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Armenian President Robert Kocharian met with Minister of Agriculture Davit Lokyan. The major subject of the meeting was the situation with the bird flu, reports the Press Service of the Armenian leader, D. Lokyan presented returns of latest research carried out by Armenian and US specialists, which evidence that H5N1 is not found in Armenia. Besides, Kocharian and Lokyan discussed creation of some 200 small and medium processing enterprises in Armenia. Kocharian commissioned the Minister to adopt a respective concept in the near future, emphasizing the need to promote processing enterprises, providing them an opportunity for low-rate credits.
