Bulgaria Glad to Support Armenia for European Integration

PanARMENIAN.Net - Like the other EU member states Bulgaria is interesting in extension of the European Union towards the South Caucasus, Bulgarian Minister of State Administration and Administrative Reform Nikolay Vassilev said in conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. In his words, Bulgaria as NATO member state and future EU member is the closest country to Armenia. "We are close to each other not only geographically. Armenian and Bulgarian people are bound by centuries-old friendship. Bulgaria is glad to support Armenia for the European integration. We have already mastered this way and will be glad to share the experience with a friendly state," he said.



Nikolay Vassilev also informed that the possibility of cooperation between the RA Foreign Ministry and the institute of public administration and European integration of Bulgaria was discussed at the 3rd sitting of the Armenian-Bulgarian intergovernmental committee for economic cooperation. "I think this is very important for the development of political contacts and Armenia's advance into the European structures," the Bulgarian Minister underscored.
