Armenai Going to Conclude Readmission Agreements with 10 EU Countries

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia is preparing to conclude readmission agreements with 10 EU countries, Head of the Migration Office of the Ministry of Territorial Management of Armenia Gagik Yeganyan told journalists in Yerevan Monday. «At the moment Armenai is preparing to conclude readmission agreements with Sweden, UK, Denmark, Germany, Benilux countries,» he remarked.

In Yeganyan's opinion, concluding agrements of this type with EU countries is a necessity, as Armenian citizens find themselves in a poor condition given the rather rough migration legislation in those countries. "At the moment Armenia has concluded readmission agreements with France, Switzerland and Latvia," he remarked. Within the term of effect of those agreements 24 Armenian citizens returned to their homeland, Yeganyan said, reports Novosti-Armenia.
