Armen Bayburtian discussed EU-Armenia relations with EU officialsFebruary 3, 2007 - 15:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - RA Deputy Foreign Minister Armen Bayburtian, who was in Brussels to participate in the 9th sitting of the EU-Armenia parliamentary cooperation committee, held a number of meetings in the EU structures, reports the RA MFA press office. During the meeting with EU Envoy for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby the parties exchanged views on the development of the EU-South Caucasus cooperation, the Armenian-Turkish relations and the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. Armen Bayburtian also met with the director of the EU political office and head of the department of the South Caucasus to discuss Armenia's relations with the neighbor states and prospects of the EU-Armenia political dialogue. The Deputy FM held meetings with other EU officials to exchange views on the European Neighborhood Policy development programs and to discuss the coming parliamentary election in Armenia and their importance in the context of the EU-Armenia relations.![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
