Circumstances are quite different in Nagorno Karabakh, RA National Assembly Vice Speaker Vahan Hovhannisian told a news conference today."Presidential elections in NKR is not a universal event. It's important for the people of NKR, who highlight state security but not personality of President. From this standpoint, opposition of contenders cannot do good. Stepanakert needs quiet change of power," he said. "Although there aren't classic forms of European democracy in NKR, the republic's elections are and will be more transparent and fair than in neighbor states," he added. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova.
