NKR Defense Army rebuffed attack of Azeri armed forces

PanARMENIAN.Net - On March 4, at 5 a.m. the Azeri armed forces violated the ceasefire at the frontline northeast of Mardakert.



An Armenian officer was injured, RA Defense Minister's spokesman, colonel Seyran Shahsuvaryan told PanARMENIAN.Net



The Azeri troops seized one of NKR posts but later were hurled back. The firing has grown more severe by 8 a.m. and the Armenian forces have taken back their positions by 2 p.m.



Armenian Defense Minister Mikael Harutyunyan brought the incident to the notion of OSCE CiO's Personal Representative, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk.
