ARMENIAN PARLIAMENTARY DELEGATION TO VISIT CANADA IN SEPTEMBER

PanARMENIAN.Net - This September the chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia Armen Khachatrian will head a delegation composed of seven deputies to visit Canada. As chairman of the Canada-Armenia friendship group of the Canadian parliament Sarkis Assadourian told "Arka" agency, as a return visit the Armenian parliamentarians will visit Montreal, Quebec, Ottawa and Toronto. In S.Assadourian's words, the exchange program gives a unique opportunity to the Canadian and Armenian deputies to exchange opinions on political systems and to build strong relations between the two countries. Let us note that, according to official data, the Armenian community in Canada comprises 43 thousand people. But according to unofficial data, as reported earlier by Sarkis Assadourian, 55 thousand Armenians live in Canada.
