DISCUSSIONS ON PROGRAM OF JOINT STRUGGLE AGAINST CRIMES IN CIS TERRITORY TAKE PLACE IN MINSK

PanARMENIAN.Net - The project of the intergovernmental program of joint struggle against the crimes in the CIS states in 2003-2005 has been the key topic of the discussion at the meeting of CIS experts in Minsk. According to the report of the CIS executive committee, the joint program of the struggle against the crimes states the development of the international legal basis, development of agreements, activities for coordination of national legal systems. Besides, the program project includes preventive and practical measures for the struggle against the terror, smuggling, drug trafficking and many other crimes. It is expected that the cooperation of CIS law-enforcement bodies in the sphere of information and scientific provision. For four days - until July 19, the experts will have discussed the bylaws of the cooperation of the CIS state-members in the struggle against the drag trafficking. Besides, the focus of attention of the participants is the project of resolution of the Council of the state heads "On establishment of the anti-terrorist center of the CIS state-member for Central Asian region".
