RA Police: March 1 events will never repeat in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan Police Chief, Major General Nerses Nazaryan refuted the hearsay that police officers were going from house to house to dissuade them from participating in rallies.



He also said that police did not block highways to prevent rural residents from coming to the capital on March 1, 2009.



He said that the opposition-authorities relations have changed. "The initiators of rallies coordinate activities with the police. March 1 events will never repeat in Yerevan. We have made conclusions after a thorough investigation into the incidents," Major General Nazaryan said.
