ARMENIAN PRESIDENT EMPHASIZED NECESSITY OF ENHANCING ARMY FIGHTING EFFICIENCY

PanARMENIAN.Net - Until the Nagorno Karabakh conflict is not settled, it is necessary to pay much attention to enhancing the fighting efficiency of the Armenian army. Armenian President Robert Kocharian stated it at the meeting with representatives of the Armenian diaspora in the course of his official visit to the Baltic countries. The Armenian leader expressed opinion that, to all appearance, the Karabakh conflict would not be solved soon. "A year and a half ago we were very close to the settlement, but Azerbaijan receded," - Robert Kocharian noted, adding that as a matter of fact the economic development of the country depended on the solution of the Karabakh problem.
