Thousands commemorated Armenian Genocide victims (Photos)

PanARMENIAN.Net - On April 24 thousands commemorated 1915-1923 Armenian Genocide victims.



Delegations of Genocide survivors' descendants gathered in Tsisernakaberd Memorial. All Armenian Catholic offered a burial service to those innocently massacred.



1,5 million Armenians were massacred and half a million dispersed throughout the world.

The Armenian Genocide was acknowledged by Russia, France, Canadian House of Commons, Lebanon, Uruguay, Cyprus, Argentina, Greece, Belgium, Sweden, Slovakia, Netherlands' House of Representatives, Switzerland National Council, Vatican, Lower chamber of Italy, Germany, Lithuania, Polish Seim and 42 US states.
