Levon Ter-Petrosyan: Amnesty will serve as a stimulus for further struggle of the opposition

PanARMENIAN.Net - At today's opposition meeting, ANC Leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan made a traditional conclusive statement. Touching upon amnesty, he noted that current President couldn't even manage to make it look like a charity act and had to announce it upon completion of preposterous mayoral elections to avoid PACE's pressure.

Expressing his admiration for political prisoners, Levon Ter-Petrosyan noted that the amnesty will serve as a stimulus for the further struggle of the opposition for liberation of comrades still in prison.

He especially commended the brave step of Nikol Pashinyan, who gave himself up to Armenian authorities, unafraid of injustice he's threatened with.

Levon Ter-Petrosyn expressed confidence that the people will stand up for Nikol Pashinyan and won't rest till Pashinyan and their other team mates are back in safety.

Opposition meeting was completed with a traditional march on the streets of Yerevan.
