KARABAKH TROOPS ORDERED NOT TO RESPONSE AZERI SNIPERS' PROVOCATION SHOOTING

PanARMENIAN.Net - The military serving on the contact line between the Armenian and Azeri troops were ordered not to response to the provocation shooting of Azeri snipers. Defense Minister of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic Seyran Ohanian stated it at the press conference held in Stepanakert today. Commenting on the statements of Azeri Defense Minister Abiyev that official Baku is ready to force settlement of the Karabakh problem, Ohanian noted that in case of resumption of hostilities, NKR defense army would suitably rebuff the aggressor. «If the adversary tries to advance even a step forward, he will realize what the power of the Karabakh army is like,» - he stated. In the Minister's word, if Baku authorities had really believed that they were able to achieve conflict settlement via military means, they would have immediately unleashed a new war.
