Issues included in Interim Committee's report should be resolved

PanARMENIAN.Net - During March 1 disorders, opposition attempted to seize power, considering population's objective complaints, ARFD parliamentary faction leader Vahan Hovhannisyan told today an extraordinary parliamentary session devoted to the discussion of interim committee's report.

Authorities were so unprofessional and negligent in their attempts to stop opposition that Parliament had to set up an interim committee investigating March 1-2, 2008 incidents.

Highly assessing committee members' painstaking work, Hovhannisyan added that National Assembly should adopt a draft decision and closely follow the process of its discussion in different state structures. "In that way, recommended clauses of proposal will be included into a specific legal frameworks," he said.
