AZERI NATIONAL SECURITY MINISTER DOUBTS OSCE MINSK GROUP POLICY EFFICIENCY

PanARMENIAN.Net - The policy pursued by the OSCE Minsk group can by no means promote settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. National security minister of Azerbaijan Namik Abbasov said in an interview to "Echo" newspaper. In his words, while Armenia has "seized" Azeri territories, to which four UN Security Council resolutions refer, the Minsk group states that is will accept any decision agreed upon by the parties. "As a matter of fact, the OSCE imposes a scheme upon us, which would better fit for sorting out mafia relationships: collided, shot a bit, then sat down to talk and broke up," - the minister said. At that he considers that not only Azerbaijan, but also the entire region runs risks. In the minister's words, the Caucasus is a multiethnic region and "if Armenian separatists form a highly dangerous precedent, it will also influence the others in a certain way."
