Armenia ready to ensure NKR security

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia, Azerbaijan and OSCE MG's a joint statement on proceeding with Karabakh talks in line with the three basic principles stipulated in Helsinki Final Act testifies to process' compliance with MG Co-Chairs statement Helsinki in December 2008, Head of Armenian Delegation in PACE Aram Safaryan (Prosperous Armenia faction) told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter. According to him, the negotiation process aims at coordinating Armenia and Azerbaijan's positions on Madrid and Krakovsk principles. "That's the positive background OSCE seeks for," Armenian delegate noted.



With regard to Azeri diplomats' statements and Baku's military rhetoric, he said, "Even if such statements are intended for domestic consumption, we should realize that Azerbaijan will seek for Turkey's help to gain unilateral benefit from negotiations. In that connection, I would like to reiterate Armenian authorities' willingness to search for peaceful methods of conflict settlement and ensure Armenia and NKR's security by using all required resources," Aram Safaryan stressed.
