Serzh Sargsyan: Armenia is interested in developing ties with Denmark

PanARMENIAN.Net - Newly appointed Danish Ambassador to Armenia Michael Borg-Hansen Thursday submitted his credentials to President Serzh Sargsyan.



Congratulating the diplomat, President expressed Armenia's interest in developing ties with Denmark in both bilateral and multi-lateral formats.



At that, he noted both countries' prospects within the frameworks of EU Eastern Partnership program. Agreeing with Armenian President, Danish Ambassador expressed willingness strengthen Armenia-Danish relations. As possible trends for developing economic ties, he particularly focused on agriculture and effective management and use of energy.



Parties exchanged views on regional processes. In that context, Armenian President expressed satisfaction with Denmark's balanced approach to the problems in South Caucasus region. Parties agreed that dialogue and cooperation were the best tool for resolving problems, RA President's press service reports.
