Turkey pursues 7th century mentality in the present-day world

PanARMENIAN.Net - The negotiations between Yerevan and Ankara proved that Armenia is a civilized state while Turkey is guided by Pan-Turkism ideology, said Hamlet Harutyunyan, parliamentarian from Republican group.

"During political discussions with Armenia, Turkey showed international community that it pursues 7th century mentality in the present-day world," he told a joint news conference with New Times party leader Aram Karapetyan.

Disagreeing with the above-statement, Mr. Karapetyan said, "Civilized countries hold elections in a civilized manner."
