Armenian PM to visit Israel

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and Catholicos of All Armenians, His Holiness Karekin II will be in Israel on February 15 and 16. It's notable that the head of the Armenian government will travel to the Holy Land 4 days after the visit of the Israeli Foreign Minister to Azerbaijan.



"Mr. Sargsyan will pay a private visit but some working meetings are not ruled out," IzRus quoted a source in the Israeli MFA as saying.



RA Agriculture Minister Gerasim Alaverdyan and Deputy Foreign Minister Arman Kirakossian were in Israel in May 2009. The Prime Minister, who emphasized the importance "to intensify bilateral cooperation in diamond industry, agriculture and healthcare", will continue the chain of visits.
