Karen Avagyan: Armenia will never concede in Karabakh status issue

PanARMENIAN.Net -
Armenian Genocide recognition depends on geopolitical interests of world powers, Social Democrat Hunchakian Party administration member Vardan Khachatryan said.

As he told the joint news conference in Yerevan with RPA member Karen Avagyan, Genocide might be recognized, should Turkey become disposed in favor of Russia, or Moscow – East relations become strained. Vardan Khachatryan characterized Armenian Genocide as one of pressure leverages on Ankara.

Karen Avagyan, in turn, noted that Armenia will intensify its policy of international recognition of Armenian Genocide.

Commenting on Karabakh conflict settlement, RPA member stated that no concessions should be expected in the issue of Karabakh status.

“Before demanding ceding of liberated territories, Azerbaijan should present a list of its own concessions,” Vardan Khachatryan stressed.
