GEORGIA'S PARLIAMENT CHAIRWOMAN NINO BYRJANADZE ARRIVED IN YEREVAN

PanARMENIAN.Net - Today Georgia's parliament newly elected speaker Nino Burjanadze arrived in Yerevan with official visit. She decided to pay her first visit as the head of the parliament to Armenia and this, according to her, proves the priorities of Georgian foreign policy. The head of Georgian parliament and the members of the delegation headed by her will meet with President Robert Kocharyan, National Assembly chairman Andranik Markaryan, foreign minister Vardan Oskanyan. Nino Burjanadze's speech at the National Assembly is planned. The guests will visit Holy Echmiadzin where they will meet with Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II. The Georgian parliamentarians will visit the Parajanov museum and place a wreath at the memorial to 1915 Armenian genocide victims.
