CATHOLICOS OF ALL ARMENIANS LEFT FOR FRANCE ON VICARIAL VISIT

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yesterday the vicarial visit of Catholicos of all Armenians Garegin II to France started. In the course of a fortnight visit the Supreme Patriarch will meet with representatives of the Armenian communities of Paris, Marseilles, Lyons and a number of other cities. Tomorrow the Catholicos will celebrate a liturgy in St. Hovhannes Armenian church in Paris. The same day the head of the Armenian Apostolic Church and Cardinal Jean-Marie Lustiger will participate in the church motet ceremony in the Paris Blessed Virgin Temple. Meeting of Garegin II with President of France Jacques Chirac and Chariman of Senate Christian Poncelet is fixed for December 10.
