Serzh Sargsyan meets representatives of Armenian community of Allepo PanARMENIAN.Net - In frames of the official visit to Syria, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan met with the Armenian community of Allepo. During the meeting with community representatives, President of Armenia highly praised the relationship between the two nations, saying that the two countries have common history. He recalled that Syria became the home for Armenians, survivors of the Genocide in the Ottoman Empire. 



"Unfortunately threats voiced showed that the terrorism is the major challenge of the 21st century, and the most dangerous type of terrorism is state terrorism. One step separates it from the biggest crime against humanity - the genocide,"the president of Armenia said. 



"I believe in future, the Armenians of Syria will make more efforts to strengthen the Syrian state," the president of Armenia said, press office of the Armenian President reported.
