Discussion of some bills in RA NA may turn into scandal

PanARMENIAN.Net - The ARF Dashnaktsutyun party took another break during discussion of bills on introduction of amendments to the RA Laws on Language and TV and Radio Broadcasting, as per the RA National Assembly regulations.

Speaker of the Armenian parliament Hovik Abrahamyan was against “endless breaks,” according to a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent in the parliament.

“If someone tries to hinder the parliament’s work, I will prevent all these attempts, which are doomed to failure,” Abrahamyan said.

“None of the parties is ill with schizophrenia to hamper the parliament’s work. If I wanted to disturb the parliament’s activity, I would have taken the tribune and would not have left it. And only policemen would have been able to take me away,” leader of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun parliamentary group Vahan Hovhannisyan commented on the NA Speaker’s statement.
