Heritage party stands for conduction of early elections in Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Heritage party wishes every success to the Armenian National Congress, which is pressing for conduction of early elections in Armenia, the party’s board chairman Armen Martirosyan said.

There are reasons for conduction of pre-term elections but there is no process which can lead to it, according to him.

“The Armenian-Turkish rapprochement was a chance the opposition missed,” he said, adding that contradictions inside the government could also be used for the purpose.

“To resolve our political problems, we should break the rule of “three Presidents” [Levon Ter-Petrosyan, Robert Kocharian, Serzh Sargsyan], none of whom can ensure Armenia’s progress,” Martirosyan concluded.
