  RUSSIAN CONSULATE GENERAL OPENED IN GUMRIOctober 2, 2001 - 23:56 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - In Gyumri Peter Sulimko is appointed Consul General of the Russian Federation on the decree of President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Opening of the Consulate in the second by significance city of Armenia is conditioned by the fact that the 102-nd Russian military base is located here. The Consulate is situated in the former building of city Public Prosecutor's Office. Three persons will work at the Consulate: the Consul, his Deputy and Secretary.
