Azerbaijan has relations with top terrorist Usama bin Laden. In answer to this statement, the leaders of the ruling party accused the opposition, which is patronized by Guliev, of terrorism. Deputy executive secretary of "Eni Azerbaijan" party Siavoush Nowruzov and the President's son Ilkham Aliev heading the delegation of parliamentarians in PACE had speeches with such accusations.
