RA Defense Ministry advises Eldar Sabiroglu not to speak about humane norms![]() July 10, 2010 - 12:54 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Commenting on recent statement of Azerbaijani Defense Ministry spokesman Eldar Sabiroglu, the RA Defense Ministry stated that it has not received an inquiry about return of the body of Azerbaijani subversive Ibrahimov, who penetrated into the NKR territory on June 18. “We do advise Sabiroglu to once again look through the pages of history, to recall the Armenian pogroms in Sumgait, Baku, Maraga, the killed and displaced civilians of Shahumyan and Getashen, the Azerbaijani serviceman who axed to death Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan and then to refrain from speaking about humane norms,” the RA Defense Ministry’s statement reads. Earlier Eldar Sabiroglu issued a statement, saying that allegedly the demand on return of the Azerbaijani serviceman’s body has been repeatedly conveyed to Armenia through international organizations, but Armenia has chosen the “way of ignoring all humanitarian and humane norms.” ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
