Stepan Safaryan: RA authorities avoid creating agenda on Javakhk issues

PanARMENIAN.Net - RA authorities always avoided creation of agenda on Javakhk issues jointly with Georgian side. Armenia failed to make Georgia realize Javakhk might serve as a bridge to collaboration and safety between the two countries. This resulted in Georgian authorities imposing their will, according to the head of Heritage parliamentary group Stepan Safaryan .

At news conference in Yerevan, he urged Georgia to recognize legal status of Armenian Church, stressing lack of effort in this direction. “Yet, instead of resolving urgent bilateral issues, Armenian president awards his Georgian counterpart with a medal,” he pointed out.
