According to Article 13, “prisoners of war must at all times be protected, particularly against acts of violence or intimidation and against insults and public curiosity.” Article 7 says that “prisoners of war may in no circumstances renounce in part or in entirety the rights secured to them by the present Convention.” “The Azeri side had no right to attract public attention to these people and post their photos. So, we hope for an adequate reaction from the International Committee of the Red Cross and other humanitarian organizations,” the RA Defense Ministry said.
