Rimma Varzhapetyan: Armenian-Israeli relations tend to develop

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian-Israelis relations tend to develop, said the chairperson of the Jewish community of Armenia.

“Although there are no embassies established, the two countries have diplomatic relations. In the near future, newly appointed Israeli Ambassador to Armenia will arrive in Yerevan to hand his credentials,” Rimma Varzhapetyan told a press conference on August 12.

“There is a unique monument commemorating the Holocaust and the Armenian Genocide in Yerevan. The Jewish cemetery has been preserved through centuries in Armenia. The Armenian society is very tolerant,” she said.
