Armen Rustamyan: Karabakh conflict settlement main problem of present generation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Representative of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun Supreme Body Armen Rustamyan said that celebration of the NKR Independence Day is an opportunity for the ARFD to assess the past year.

“Karabakh conflict resolution is the most important task. Some agreements around principles, formation of a comprehensive package are expected, i.e. the problems have become more outlined,” he said.

According to Rustamyan, the ARF Dashnaktsutyun will again dwell on threats and dangers during the celebration events. “The Karabakh problem is among key issues on the Armenia’s agenda It is the basic problem of present generation. It is impossible to find solution to other problems, as long as this conflict remains unresolved,” Rustamyan stressed.

At the same time he noted that basic approaches to the problem resolution are more or less clear today. “Some people insist that we cannot develop without concessions in the Karabakh issue. We state the opposite. We believe that the only way for Armenia is development without concessions,” Rustamyan concluded, Azat Artsakh paper reported.
