Armenia expects Ukrainian Foreign Minister and President to pay visit to Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said that there are projects, which can present great interest for both Ukrainians and Armenians. “We have great opportunities for developing relations and there are not problems, which can prevent our relations from reaching the highest level,” the Foreign Minister said.

According to him, around 60 joint enterprises operate in Armenia today, but the potential is much greater.

Referring to century-old relationships between the two countries, Nalbandian said that a positive trend is observed this year in terms of visits intensification.

“Days of Armenia’s culture will be held in Ukraine this year. I invited my Ukrainian counterpart Konstantin Grishenko to Yerevan. We expect him to arrive in November. You know that our President was in Ukraine two times this year, that is why we expect your President to pay a visit. We will always be happy to greet in Armenia President Yanukovych, a great friend of the Armenian people,” Segodnya.ua quoted Nalbandian as saying.
