Foreign Minister of Georgia resolves Upper Lars issue after meeting with his Armenian counterpart

PanARMENIAN.Net - At October 6 parliamentary session, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian spoke about the results of recent meeting with his Georgian counterpart Grigol Vashadze.

“Issues on legal status of Armenian Church in Georgia, Armenian language and schools were discussed. The problem with Upper Lars checkpoint, closed for technical reasons, was resolved within hours, as promised by Georgian Foreign Minister,” Nalbandian pointed out.

Dwelling on Vashadze’s statement that there’s no such region as Javakhk on Georgia’s map, Nalbandian noted that such conversations do not behove the Foreign Minister of Armenia.
