Yerevan to host CoE annual Forum for the Future of Democracy on October 19-21

PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan will host Council of Europe’s annual Forumfor the Future of Democracy on October 19-21, 2010.

Democratic principles of governance, their application and impact from the point of view of opposition to modern public and political challenges of the CE member states will be in the focus of the forum, the RA MFA press service reported.

Taking into consideration the previous 5-year experience, the forum will be primarily aimed at discussion of democratic governance mechanisms with consideration of possible perspectives of democracy development until 2020 and reforms implemented in the Council of Europe.
