PanARMENIAN.Net - The Council of Europe’s Forum for the Future of Democracy: Principles and Challenges kicked off in Yerevan on October 19.

“Conduction of the Forum is a great responsibility for Armenia, which closely follows the processes going on in Europe. In the near future, Armenia will mark the 10th anniversary of its CoE membership and I would like to thank all those member countries which assisted Armenia within the organization,” Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian said in his opening remarks.

It’s noteworthy that President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Mevlut Cavusoglu did not arrive in Yerevan due to ‘technical problems with plane’.
