Kiro Manoyan: Astrakhan agreement with Armenia allows Aliyev to boast some success

PanARMENIAN.Net - ARF Bureau's Hay Dat and Political Affairs Office Director Kiro Manoyan believes the agreement between the Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents on swap of POWs will be implemented.

“In any case, the parties will work to that end until the December OSCE summit in Astana to create an impression that they try to fix progress,” Manoyan said when responding to a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter’s question during a press conference in Yerevan.

“Azerbaijan has already stated that the meeting was important for them, as due to the agreement, their servicemen’s body will be returned,” Manoyan said, adding that the agreement will allow Aliyev to boast some success in negotiations with Armenia.
