Harutyun Mesrobyan: Astana summit was complete failure

PanARMENIAN.Net - The OSCE summit in Astana was a complete failure, according to an Armenian expert.

“Signing the joint statement, Armenia has once again confirmed its disadvantageous position in Karabakh talks,” Harutyun Mesrobyan told reporters in Yerevan on Decembers 6.

Meanwhile, head of the Academy of Political Research Alexander Manasyan remarked that labeling the summit as failure would be incorrect, as the statement does mention that the conflict should be resolved in compliance with the right of nations to self-determination and territorial integrity.

He also hailed President Serzh Sargsyan’s address to the summit, describing it as another step towards conflict resolution.
