Armenia continued developing relations with Middle and Far East countries in 2010

PanARMENIAN.Net - The year 2010 was successful for the development of Armenia-China relations, according to Armenian Foreign Ministry annual report.

During his visit to China, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with Chinese President Hu Jintao.

Days of Armenia in China were organized with the framework of World Expo 2010 Shanghai exhibition.

In November 2010, Armenian Foreign Minister visited India to meet the country’s high-ranking officials. On November 17, Yerevan hosted political consultations between Armenian and Japanese Foreign Ministries. A number of joint Armenia-Japan events were organized in 2010; Armenian Embassy was opened in Japan.

Also, Armenia held bilateral negotiations with Vietnam and Fiji Islands.
