ANC: our goal is to take ‘kitchen opposition’ out to the streets

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian National Movement board head Aram Manukyan said that the Armenian National Congress is going to intensify activity to press for change of power in Armenia and that its main goal is to take the ‘kitchen opposition” out to the streets

“The ‘kitchen opposition’ consists of people who speak against the incumbent authorities but think that the victory can be achieved without their participation or do not see themselves as a part of the anti-government struggle,” Manukyan said.

He called on all to come to Matenadaran on March 1, as the number of people present at the rally will determine ANC’s future plans.

Change of power and development of democracy it will be possible to resolve all the problems Armenia faces

“Democracy must save Karabakh, democracy must save Armenia,” he said.

At that, he emphasized they do not want a revolution but a change of power, as “those force which grab power through revolutions are vulnerable.”
