ANM leader: rally at Liberty Square first victory of opposition

PanARMENIAN.Net - Attaining permission to hold a rally at Liberty Square is our fist victory at this stage, the leader of the oppositional Armenian National Movement Aram Manukyan stated.

Armenian National Congress participants are getting ready to hold a rally. The rally will start after the loudspeakers and all the necessary hardware is delivered to the Square.

The police allowed Armenian opposition rally participants to enter Liberty Square. As PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent at the scene reported, Armenian National Congress coordinator Levon Zurabyan urged rally participants to maintain discipline. The police allowed the demonstrators’ entrance after negotiations between Zurabyan and Deputy Chief of Armenian Police Alexander Afyan.
