OY group leader’s absence prevents MPs from discussing Hovannisian’s hunger strike

PanARMENIAN.Net - The parliamentary discussion on the hunger strike of Heritage party leader Raffi Hovannisian was not held over the absence of Orinats Yerkir group leader Heghine Bisharyan.

As a PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent reported from the parliament, the debate will take place when all heads of parliamentary groups can participate in it.

Earlier, MP Viktor Dallakyan called on his colleagues to discuss the ongoing hunger strike of Raffi Hovannisian.

“I offer the parliamentary forces to summon a meeting to discuss the issue. We must call on Hovannisian to stop the hunger strike,” Dallakyan said. “If deputies fail to dissuade Hovannisian from his decision, they should at least visit him in Liberty Square.”
